



















































































Lumme Tee by Sari Nordlund (F&F)
- Description
The Lumme Tee by Sari Nordlund is named after the Finnish word for water lily. It's knit seamlessly from the top down, beginning with a high-contrast stranded colourwork yoke with increases cleverly integrated into the design. Short rows are worked after the colourwork
We made some modifications to the pattern and knit our version using a single strand of fingering weight Fleece and Flax yarn at the pattern gauge of 20 sts/4" for a light and airy fabric. See all mods below.

Finished circumference at chest:
80 (91, 100, 111, 120, 131, 140, 151, 160) cm / 31.5 (35.75, 39.25, 43.75, 47.25, 51.5, 55, 59.5, 63) inches Intended to be worn with 5-7.5 cm / 2-3 inches of ease.
KITS
Kits include the following number of skeins of FLEECE & FLAX by size. This is enough yarn to complete the pattern with modifications like ours.
Sizes 1 - 5: 2 for MC / 1 for CC (3 total)
Sizes 6 - 9: 3 for MC / 1 for CC (4 total)
Mine shown in "Offline" and "Crossword" with a pop of "Staycation" in the flowers.
PATTERN

MODIFICATIONS
- Cast on for your size and follow instructions until patterns indicates to begin working the chart.
- Work chart rows 1-6 in MC only (ignore colourwork pattern).
- Work remainder of chart as shown with MC and CC. If a pop of colour is desired, add a second CC and incorporate it for three chart rows when working the center of flowers and decorative spacers between the flowers. You can find FLEECE & FLAX MINI SKEINS in six different colourways HERE.
- Work body as written. When body is desired length (ours is knit to 13” from underarm), switch to CC. Then, knit 1 row. Purl 1 row. Bind off knit-wise.
- For sleeves, we worked the decrease round after 8 rows (as written) then every 12th row, 4 more times (you may need to modify decreases depending on your size and desired sleeve length).
- When sleeve length is about 12”, switch to CC. Then knit 1 row. Purl 1 row. Bind off knit-wise.
- To finish neck, pick up all stitches around. Bind off on next row.
