Night Blooms

The NIGHT BLOOMS sweater by Melissa Clulow incorporates a simple chart motif into a graphic top-down pullover design. The use of two high-contrast colourways lends a dramatic quality to an otherwise minimalist garment. Although the line of the sweater falls straight from the underarms, generous ease through the body gives the illusion of a slightly A-line, swingy shape. While the pattern uses two strands of a laceweight silk mohair yarn for the colourwork, a contrasting DK weight colourway can be easily substituted.
