The SPLIT LEAF SHAWL by Sasha Hyre is knit with a strand of LUNA (100% Bluefaced Leciester, lace weight) held with a gorgeously soft and fuzzy strand of HALO (mohair + silk).

From the designer: "As living beings, veins are vital for our hearts. And as such, the pattern in leaves are an important characteristic for the identification of plants. Split leaf represents my interpretation of the intricacies of the patterns that are essential to life."

Pattern also includes instructions for a mohair-free version knit with a strand of LUNA on its own (2 skeins required).

Note that only about 10g of the third skein of Halo is required to knit the pattern as written so feel free to add length to the mid-section to maximize your yarn.
