San Sweater by Aegyoknit
- Description
San means mountain in Korean, a fitting name for this cozy, graphic sweater. The Fair Isle yoke is built around a series of striking diamond motifs that echo the shape of distant mountain peaks, creating a beautiful effect across the shoulders.
Kits feature BLOOM, our gorgeous chunky blend of mohair and merino (with a touch of nylon for strength). Soft, lofty and wonderfully fuzzy, Bloom gives San a cozy, cloud-like quality while making this colourwork design simple to knit. The original design calls for two yarns held double throughout, but Bloom can be held single to easily achieve the pattern's 15-stitch gauge - making for a lighter, more straightforward knit without sacrificing the texture and impact of the original.

- Knit 2 rows after the collar ribbing before starting the colourwork pattern as these appear in the pattern photos but don't seem to written in the actual pattern.
- Knit 6.5" from underarm before starting body hem ribbing.
- Picked up 12 sts under the arms when starting the sleeves. Otherwise followed sleeve directions exactly.
