The SABAI Sweater by Susanne Müller is a simple pullover with a boat neck. It has a loose fit and narrow sleeves for an oversized yet elegant look. It's very easy to knit, requiring only a few techniques, making it ideal for beginners. Worked seamlessly from the top down, the neckline can be knit with or without short rows, depending on the desired level of difficulty. The front and back are each worked separately back and forth and then joined together under the armholes. The body is then worked in the round until desired length. Stitches are picked up from the side edges of front and back for the sleeves which are worked in the round in stockinette stitch.

The sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 20 cm / 8”. For larger sizes (XL and XXL), slightly less positive ease of about 15 cm / 6” is recommended. For example, if you have a chest circumference of 94 cm / 37”, you should knit size M.
