Vest No. 1 by My Favourite Things is a timeless slipover designed to layer easily over shirts and dresses. Rooted in classic menswear styling, it’s softened with thoughtful, feminine details, most notably the elegant double-folded neckline.
Our version is knit holding Sunday Morning DK together with Halo, which creates a beautifully balanced fabric: light yet cozy, with a soft halo that adds depth and glow.
The vest is worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch. Construction begins at the upper back, followed by the two front sections. The pieces are then joined in the round to complete the body. Stitches for the neckline and armholes are picked up directly from the garment, resulting in clean, polished edges with no finishing required.
A versatile wardrobe staple with a refined finish.
