Scrappy Yoke Sweater by Olga Putano

The Scrappy Yoke Sweater by Olga Putano is a joy to knit and an excellent choice for anyone new to colourwork. Floats are never longer than three stitches, and you’ll only work with two colours at a time, making it approachable as well as beautiful.

Worked seamlessly from the top down, it starts with a neat short collar and a few back-neck shaping rows. Yoke increases happen mostly on plain rounds, then you’ll separate for the sleeves and continue with the lively colourwork motif. Finish with your choice of sleeve style - short, straight long, or gently tapered for a closer fit.

The pattern is written for four colours, just like our kits and whether you stick with our curated palettes or dream up your own, this sweater is bound to become a favourite.
