Sunday Sweater by Petiteknit (BLOOM)

The SUNDAY SWEATER is a relaxed, cozy sweater with just enough texture at the yoke to elevate it from a basic pullover. The softly oversized silhouette, simple stockinette body and gently dropped hem make it an easy everyday layer, at home with jeans and boots or over a dress. We knit our version with BLOOM which lends a soft, lofty feel to the classic shape.
The Sunday Sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. The yoke is worked in ribbing and shaped with increases, creating the distinctive radiating texture around the neckline. Once the yoke is complete, short rows are worked to raise the back for a comfortable fit. The body and sleeves are then worked in stockinette stitch and finished with ribbed edges.

The Sunday Sweater is designed to have approx. 15 cm [6 inches] of positive ease. For example, if you measure 94 cm [37 inches] around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size M. A size M sweater has a bust circumference of 109 cm [43 inches] which in the given example would give you 15 cm [6 inches] of positive ease.
