Mouton Noir Hat by Melissa Clulow (Sunday Morning DK + Halo)
The MOUTON NOIR hat might just be the easiest, coziest hat you'll ever knit. It's worked straight up in stockinette in-the-round from cast-on to the beginning of crown decreases. When the knitting is finished, the brim is created by simply folding the fabric up from the cast-on edge and tacking it in place with four evenly spaced stitches.
The original version of this hat features Julie Asselin's gorgeous Boucle yarn but we've reimagined it as a sleeker more tailored accessory in this new version knit with Sunday Morning DK and Halo held together.
